On Friday night (April 23), popped up at Orlandos Tier Nightclub for his first post-prison performance. While performing GOOBA, he reportedly jumped off the balcony and into the crowd, which gave fans the chance to paw at 6ix9ine as he rapped. According to TMZ, 6ix9ine became upset when someone knocked his hat off and grabbed the chains draped around his neck. One of the chains ultimately fell to the ground, but his security reportedly picked it up. Even so, 6ix9ine cut the concert short and took off. 6ix9ines attorney Lance Lazzaro says his client was happy with his performance and didnt lose any of his expensive jewelry. As the rap community is well aware, 6ix9ine was arrested in 2018 on multiple racketeering charges. The Brooklyn native agreed to become the federal governments star witness in exchange for a lighter sentence. In October 2019, 6ix9ine took the stand in the trial against Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members Aljermiah Nuke Mack and Anthony Harv Ellison, helping send them to prison. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 6ix9ine was granted a compassionate release in April 2020 and allowed to finish his sentence on house arrest. Shortly after he was released, the 24-year-old got right back to his outlandish social media behavior until his sophomore album, TattleTales, failed to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
