The fallout from Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival continues. While brands are looking to distance themselves from La Flame following the deadly festival, magazines are doing the same.
looking to distance themselves from La Flame following the deadly festival, magazines are doing the same. According to Page Six W is looking to halt delivery on an upcoming edition of the magazine featuring a cover story with Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner. The cover featured an extensive interview between Scott and Jenner, who are gearing up to welcome a second child together, and was printed before the November 5 festival but now W employees are rushing to shelve the issue before delivery trucks attempt to disperse magazines across the country. W editors have cleared any planned coverage of Travis and Kylie from their website, but the magazine was already printed, and now they are trying to stop the delivery trucks, a source relayed to Page Six. Blount had been in a medically induced coma with damage to his internal organs including his lungs, kidney and heart. He was also suffering from brain swelling due to cardiac arrest. Travis Scott released a statement sending his condolences to the victims and offered to pay for their funerals. Hes looking to be part of the solution with over 100 reported lawsuits piling up related to the festivals disaster. Im absolutely devastated by what took place last night, he wrote. My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival. Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life. I am committed to working together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need. Travis Scott releases statement following Astroworld deaths Read more
