Rapper/singer Tory Lanez believes a whole generation of artists followed his lead on sampling old R&B and Pop songs.
Tory Lanez helped build his brand as an R&B/Hip Hop hybrid performer with his Chixtape series. The Canadian entertainer often sampled older songs for his projects. Now Tory Lanez apparently wants validation for his contribution to the production style of contemporary music. The One Umbrella founder, born Daystar Peterson, took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the subject.
