The Game will unleash his next studio album Drillmatic: Mind Vs. Hearton June 17. He's revealed some details about the tracklist and cover art.
Drillmatic: Mind Vs. Heart on June 17. Just over two weeks out, the veteran rapper has yet to unveil many details about the impending project. But on Tuesday (May 31), he headed to Instagram to share what looks like the albums cover art featuring a black-and-white photo of a crying baby rocking an N.W.A chain. In the last slide of the post, Game also revealed the project contains a whopping 30 tracks. Similar to Kendrick Lamars Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, its being billed as a double album with Mind being one-half and Heart being the other. As he wrote in the caption, DRILLMATIC. Mind vs Heart. But in a 2021 interview with HipHopDX, he announced his short-lived retirement was over and hed been in the studio, evidently working on Drillmatic. During the conversation, he lamented the lack of substance in commercialized rap but was optimistic about the future of Hip Hop, especially with his return.
