Post Malone recently sat down with Apple Musics Zane Lowe ahead of his Twelve Carat Toothache album dropping on Friday (June 3). When TikTok came up in the discussion, he praised the social media platform but admitted its hard for him to make videos that arent forced. Theres so many different ways to get people to listen to your music, he said. And TikTok is so fucking huge Everything, no, its great. And you have people check on my new song and it goes fucking viral and that changes peoples lives. And you discover talented people on there and everything. But its just so hard for me to make something natural. And its just so interesting. Its interesting to hear opinion on that. He added, I just think its my personal opinion and the changes that Ive made mentally to distance myself from that and thats really impacted my life in a positive way. Its just whatever makes your comfortable because at the end of the day, you just got to be comfortable with what youre doing. And social media is something that Im not super comfortable with. In 2020, Post Malone revealed hed been taking a break from social media for mental health reasons, while acknowledging the impact his profiles have for change.
