During an interview with MSNBC , Lil Baby reflected on the single and how he didnt intend it to be a song of the moment. According to Lil Baby, The Bigger Picture is exactly what the title states, confronting issues that are bigger than all of us. I wasnt gonna make just a George Floyd song, Lil Baby said around the 16-minute mark. I mentioned what kind of happened in the song a little bit, but it was the whole . It wasnt just that incident because it was bigger than that incident. Not saying that incident was not bigger than other incidents, but it was just my chance to speak on the whole thing.
