Doja Cat has been tapped to host the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards ahead of the Brooklyn ceremony on September 12, according to Variety.
August 25, 2021 Doja Cat performed a medley at the 2020 MTV VMAs and has now leveled up into earning the host role in just a year. She also took home a Moon Man for Best New Artist last year. The Planet Her rapper also has five nominations at the 2021 ceremony, where shell be competing in the Artist of the Year and Video of the Year categories respectively.
