On July 29th New York City Police arrested Cameron Giles also known as Camron, on possession of a firearm and drug charges. Killa Cam was driving his Range Rover in Manhattan Monday when police pulled him over for a traffic violation. Police were said to have spotted marijuana in plain view when the approached the vehicle and after performing a search also recovered a .22 caliber handgun and a forged New York City Fire Department card (which allows then parking privileges as well as NYC tolls). On July 30th, Cam was released on bail after pleading not guilty. At the time of his arrest Cam was said to be in route to the filming of Roc-A-Fellas latest hip-hop comedy film Death of a Dynasty. According to NY The Daily News Death of a Dynasty is centered around a big rivalry between characters based on Damon Dash who is directing the film and Jay-Z. Promotion for Camrons first full length film Paid In Full will be hitting theatres nationwide in September. No date has been mentioned concerning his next possible court date. Read more
