The film, 'accentuates the journey of Renaissance World Tour, from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden , to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri .' The official description adds, 'It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft.' The tour was met with, 'extraordinary acclaim,' and, 'created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans.' The film will arrive in theaters December 1, a day after the Thanksgiving holiday, going up against Disney's The Bikeriders. 'When I am performing, I am nothing but free,' Beyonce says in voice over, as we see shots of her getting ready for a performance including her giving a kiss to her son Sir. She's seen with her family and walking out to a waiting helicopter, adding, 'The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged.' They show numerous shots of the wildly diverse fan base Beyonce attracts, along with her team getting ready for the show. 'Start over, start fresh. Create the new, that's what the Renaissance is about,' Beyonce says, while seeing more glimpses of her team in action. They show a number of different reactions from fans of every background as she takes the stage for the first time. Beyonce adds, 'At any point, they could close their eyes and be right back there and take it with them.' They show a number of Queen Bey's elaborate outfits that she has worn during the world tour, along with a shot of her happy husband Jay-Z watching his wife perform. It's believed that crews used the hitmaker's shows in her hometown, Houston, to shoot the footage. The My Power artist has not announced the film release officially, but the consensus is she will confirm it to fans at her final concert in Kansas City Sunday. According to Billboard, the Renaissance World Tour has grossed $461.3 million to date. It is 'the highest grossing tour by a woman in the Boxscore archives' according to the outlet.
