African-American actresses have rallied around their sister Regina King as she recovers from the devastating death of her only child, Ian Alexander Jr.

Share Rapper, actress, and film producer Queen Latifah posted a video on Instagram sending love, light and prayers to Regina King. The video has since been taken down and replaced with a postthat states #WeLoveYouRegina. Fox Soul TV co-host, Claudia Jordan, initially posted about the death of Regina Kings son last week. However, she has taken the post down out of respect for King. She was joined on her showby Kings friends and fellow actresses, Vivica A Fox, Syleena Johnson, and Lisa Raye. Vivica A. Fox provided an update to fans on the actresss well-being in light of her sons death. She shared how she had visited King earlier and how much support was around her while weeping, Regina is okay. Vivica also shared that Regina appreciates her support system and the outpouring of love for her, her family and her son. Fox also talked about the importance of mental health. If yall see any signs of someone being in distress, stop and take a moment to make sure they are OK. Adding that We have to start bringing more awareness to mental illness.
