One of the men accused of killing the burgeoning rap star was reportedly so upset with the 15-year-old alleged triggerman, he assaulted him afterward. According to Rolling Stone,murder suspect Corey Walker was in a Los Angeles courtroom on Friday (October 15) as his defense lawyer, Christopher Darden, filed a motion to dismiss his murder and robbery charges with the argument Walker specifically voiced his opposition to any violence before Pop Smoke was fatally shot. Darden wrote in the court filing, It is clear from the evidence that did not enter the house, was not armed, and did not personally kill the victim. Moreover, the evidence is clear that the defendant did not share the actual killers intent to kill. Instead, Walker wanted the alleged shooter to smash a vase over Pop Smokes head. Darden added theres no evidence showing Walker actually entered Pop Smokes rented home with a weapon and repeatedly pointed out he wasnt the shooter. Read more
