Share In December, Nardo was the talk of the town after a clip of his interview with DJ Akademiks on an episode of his Off the Record podcast went viral. Wicks spoke about the tough environment he grew up in and how it was hard to get out of a criminal mindset. He said, I would just look at it like, I would go rob a n***a and get this much, why would I go to work for a week? The comments rubbed people the wrong way so much that Nardo had to clarify in a statement on Instagram that he does not condone stealing in a statement. He went on to explain that his mindset is different from when he and his mother struggled and slept on the floor for 3 years.
