Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alex Camacho explained Tafias 2021 Audi SUV and a tractor-trailer collided, causing the tractor-trailer to lose control and slam into a concrete barrier wall. Roughly 100 gallons of fuel spilled onto the roadway, causing the tractor-trailer to go up in flames, however, the driver escaped with only minor burns. TAFIAs crew was following him on State Road 112 when the crash occurred. He told a trooper another vehicle had cut him off, so he turned right.
