Logic has signed with BMG after he left Def Jam earlier in 2022.
June 22, 2022 Logic openly implied on multiple occasions in recent monthsthat he was unhappy with his deal at Def Jam/UMG. He explicitly declared his departure on the song See You Space Cowboy. We actually out here recording this album/Its going to be my last studio album on Def Jam, he rapped. He added on Vinyl Days closer Sayonara that he had signed to BMG, rapping, Independent now, wont double back, I rep the BMG. The signing comes after Logic dropped his latest album Vinyl Dayson June 24, which featured appearances from Action Bronson, Curren$y, Russ, RZA, AZ, The Game, Royce Da 59 and Wiz Khalifa, among others. Logic is hitting the road with Khalifa on The Vinyl Verse Tourstarting on July 27 in Irvine, California at the FivePoint Amphitheatre. The North American trek will end on September 2 at the Hollywood Casio Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Missouri. Logic will also be bringing along 24kGoldn, DJ Drama, Fedd The God and C Dot Castro for the joint venture, with Berner and Rubi Rose set to perform on select dates. Listen to Vinyl Days below.
