The 40-year-old rapper on Tuesday left a recording session to accept an induction into Billboard Hip-Hop Hall of Fame at Billboardâ€™s R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players at The Novo in Los Angeles. The prolific musical artist, whose full name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., told the crowd at the event that he had interrupted the creative process to accept the honors.
