East Atlanta-bred rapper GRIP is officially the latest Shady Records signee.

July 1, 2021 Shady Records roster currently consists of Boogie, Bad Meets Evil, Conway The Machine and Eminem, according to its website. Fellow Griselda member Westside Gunn was previously signed to the label but announced hed left during an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast amid trouble with Shady Records. Um, Im off Shady, he told Budden. Im off Shady. Im actually a free agent. It feels great. Who Made The Sunshine was it. I already spoke to Paul . Everythings good. Like, everythings signed, sealed and delivered I have my paperwork, like Im off Shady. Im one of those type of dudes Im not no public talkin n-gga. Thats just how I move. Its like sayin me and Benny or me and Conway or Conway and Benny or whoever, we might have a disagreement, but the world will never know. We still gonna be brothers and cousins. Its the same way even with business, because at the end of the day, this a big world. Even if somebody else is a sucka, Im never gonna play that sucka role.
