Share When Sharing Is Not Caring John Demsey, a 65-year-old Estee Lauder senior executive who was earning $9.6 million dollars a year, was suspended from his 20-plus-year position for posting an offensive picture on his personal Instagram page. The meme contained an image of the Sesame Street character Snuffleupagus in bed with a fever, laying with Big Bird. The caption read, My Snuffy done got the rona at a Chingy concert. Demsey has since released an apology : I am terribly sorry and deeply ashamed that I hurt so many people when I made the horrible mistake of carelessly reposting a racist meme without reading it beforehand.
