Aldean, 46, has faced days of backlash over his song 'Try That in a Small Town,' the video for which features news footage from a handful of riots, many of them violent, that took place across the country over the last few years. He also explains that the allegation that Aldean or the song are 'pro-lynching' is 'baseless' and predicated solely on the fact that, in 1926, an 18-year-old black man named Henry Choate was lynched in front of the same courthouse featured in the video.
