The year might be drawing to a close, but 2024 is already shaping up to be just as full with exciting gigs from a whole host of amazing artists. If you're an R&B fan, the announcement that superstar Ne-Yo is coming to Manchester next year might be just the news you needed to round of this year. Or if you’re looking for something a bit different, Keane are heading out on tour next year to celebrate 20 years of ‘Hopes and Fears’. They have also lovingly put together a 20 track greatest hits album ‘Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds’, which releases October 4, 2024. It’s a masterclass in modern pop songwriting from Ian Broudie. Kicking off with their classic debut single ‘Pure’, this really is a greatest hits disc worthy of the title from a band who have sold over 8 million albums. Hailing from the Isle of Wight, The Bees were formed by duo and multi-instrumentalists Paul Butler and Aaron Fletcher. The psychedelic duo recorded their debut album ‘Sunshine Hit Me’ over 20 years ago from Butler’s backyard home studio, which was lauded by critics and fans alike later leading to a Mercury nomination.
